Travel Crayon Holder

Photobucket

Once in a Family Fun magazine one mom wrote in and suggested you use an empty water bottle with screw on lid to hold colored pencils. We decided to use the same idea but recycle our empty spice containers and use them for travel Crayon holders.

Any spice container would work. We liked the ones with the flip top lid so that the kids didn't drop or loose it when it was open. The two we used happened to be Tastefully Simple bottles because... they were empty.

Just wash out the container. Cover with paper of choice and decorate anyway you want. We just used white computer paper and crayons to decorate ours.

These work great on long trips in the car because they fit in a cup holder.

We also like to keep them in our busy bags so we have them when we are on the go.

  3. Great idea. I love it especially for the care so you don't have lose crayons melting into upholstery. Thanks so much for sharing.
