Easy Lego Pinata

It's birthday season at our house. We have two in March, One in April, One in May and mine in June.
The first birthday in March is for my soon to be 3 year old. He is having a Lego party. His brother volunteered to make him a pinata today while his little brother was napping.
We have made pinatas in the past like this easy 4th of July Rocket Pinata. Pinata's don't have to involve messy paper mache!

For this Lego pinata all you need is an empty Kleenex box.
We opened one end and put the prizes inside the box.

We decided to try a pull string type of pinata since most little kids are not able to hit a pinata to open it. So we just punched holes in one of the flaps and tied a bunch of strings to it. Then all the kids at the party will pull the strings at the same time to open the pinata.

Once it was full we just wrapped the paper streamers around the Kleenex box. We did a double layer so you couldn't see through. Then I used some scrap sticky back craft foam for the circles and wrote the LEGO logo on each one.

Super quick, low cost, but super cool Lego pinata!
